FREED Australian hostage Douglas Wood aims to cash in on his 47-day ordeal.

A book deal, speaking tours, television interviews and beer sponsorship are being sought for Mr Wood four days after his rescue from terrorists in Baghdad.
Details of the marketing plans came as Federal Government sources revealed that attempts to rescue the US-based engineer cost Australian taxpayers up to $10 million.

Mate by the look of his house and car on the news the man aint goin hungry - What he makes at the very least 75 % should go back to the people who paid for him being alive in the first place.

Actually come to think of it

Australia's Emergency Response Team, which was sent Iraq last month, contained up to 40 members, including intelligence agents, Australian Federal Police officers and representatives of the Foreign Affairs and Defence departments.

If these greedy dikheds take the risk and expect others to risk their lives saving them because of their greed - He should be made to pay every cent he makes back and just thank whoever he is alive.  :banghead
