Votes Round 13, 2005 - RFC vs Adelaide
« on: June 19, 2005, 06:50:21 AM »
Scratches head and throws darts ......  :help

3.  Richo - 4 goals from limited opportunites and on the end of zig-zag footy  :banghead.
2. Chaffey - held Goodwin for 3 quarters in a Crows midfield that was running riot.
1. Newman - I think he played every role in the backline even as a key position defender on Welsh ???

Bowden gots lots of it but missed targets especially in the first quarter.
Likewise Johnson but no influence.
Tuck alone was left to win the ball out of the centre. The Crows swamped him whenever he got his hands first on the ball.
Simmonds actually held his marks lol.

A week of cheap votes after that display  :banghead

3 - Richo - probably the only bloke who won his position on the ground
2 - Tuck - wasn't effective but he tried hard, unlike most of our other midfielders
1 - Johnson - Had a fairly good duel with Ricciuto

I can't remember a game with so few redeeming features. We were just out and out crap.

3 - Richo
2 - Bowden
1 - Deledio

And following along the lines of Delideo, I know Jackson didn't get many touches but at least these young future players when they get the ball are trying to run the lines and take on the opposition instead of effing around. Remember they are still learning and I would would rather them learning this way instead of playing ring a rosy  :thumbsup

3 - Richo - on one leg he still presents, chases and he kicked straight  :bow

2 - Tuck - getting tagged now but still getting the ball buy geez he needs some support

1 - Johnson - clangers yes but at least he got the bloody thing.

Argh.........THE GOLDEN TURNUP

I actually never thought I'd have to do this but let me see...... running back and in the path of Richo in the first, passes that landed at least a metre on in front of Simmonds on the lead, handballing to Tuck when he has count 'em 3 Crows around him and that squib kick for goal in the third that would have got us back to within 3 goals..... I squirmed, I yanked my very short hair, I put my head in my hands and then I said OH DEAR ;D (well I said something but I cannot repeat it cos the swear filter will take it out)

Take a bow: MARK COUGHLAN - see no-one is immune :lol :rollin

OH dear!!!!!!!!!!!!
