GARRY Lyon made the No.3 famous at Melbourne – now the club's most recent first-round draft pick, Christian Salem, has the chance to do the same.

Way to put pressure on a kid who has only just arrived. The Dees did the same last year with Toumpas and that worked out well :nope. The messiah mentally still alive and well at Melbourne FC. It makes me glad we don't do this and we just allow our first picks to make their own name on the footy field.

Poor kid. Even Melbourne couldn't let a first rounder become that poo you wouldn't think.  :shh
