The big fella copped four grand for wrestling. Oh no he actually pushed and shoved the guy playing on him. Geez that's never happened before in the 150 years of the game  .

But folks slamming into the back of an umpire only costs $3500  .

Wrestler 'Richo' hit for $4000

THE tribunal found Matthew Richardson guilty of a wrestling charge last night but the Richmond full-forward is free to play in Saturday night's match against the Kangaroos.

Richardson pleaded not guilty to the charge from the match against the West Coast Eagles.

While he was found guilty by the tribunal, chairman Brian Collis imposed only a $4000 fine as his penalty.

Richardson had been reported by the emergency umpire and a goal umpire for wrestling with West Coast's Darren Glass in the opening minutes of the match at Subiaco.

Glass pleaded guilty and as a first offender was fined a mandatory $1200.

The cameras showed Richo and Glass wrestling prior to the opening bounce.  I wonder who started it all, the full back or the full forward?

What a pane Glass turned out to be, in more ways than one.
