Deledio Admission Proves Hawk Failure at Draft

I just saw the show on fox footy about deledio and tambling. before draft day deledio is interviewed and he clearly states that buckenara told him hed be a hawk if we didnt take him. so much for wanting the key positions lol. hawthorn have been exposed. on another note the 2 boys showed they are class acts. speak well. present well. it was a great show. if you have foxtel try and see it if u have missed it. runs for 30 minutes!

Not neccesarily, i mean there is no way the Hawks would take Roughead over Deledio, that's common sense!

Deledio was just TOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOOD a prospect to pass over, for anyone!

Draft time it was either Deledio or Tambling, then a gap and then Griffen Roughead and Franklin.

A load of garbage they went after 2 KPPs all along. Before the draft there were question marks over Franklin's commitment and whether he would want to return to WA in a couple of years to play for the Eagles or Freo. So the Hawks chose Roughead first thinking the Dogs would chose Griffen and we would then be forced to take Franklin as a KPP after selecting Deledio leaving Tambling for them. They were in shock when we scored both Deledio and Tambling  . That's why they hestitated for ages before finally selecting Franklin.

In 5 years time we'll find out who faired better but if the Hawks do well then it will be more due to luck than design. They would take Deledio and Tambling in a heartbeat.
