‏It's all over. Here's the questions Dimma answered:

@EsCargot23 - which player does he feel will break out in 2014 and play a lot of AFL footy?

We're looking at Reece Conca for a breakout year. He's shown really good form but at stages he's been cruelled by injuries.

‏@p_mclaren - where will Hampson play most of his footy this year? Ruck or forward? How has he been training?

Shaun will split his time between ruck and forward. Probably predominantly in the ruck. Been training really well.

@TyEsler - do you have a favourite stat that you like to track during a game?

Contested ball is a big one, time in forward 50 is another, and time in possession as well.

@jetcas1434 - What areas are u looking for improvement in for Matty Dea to cement his place back in the seniors?

Matty probably needs a little bit of luck with injury, but has had a great pre-season thus far.

‏@jcara9 - can we expect to see McBean play this year?

Yeah, we'd hope so. He was very close last year, had an injury interrupted pre-season, but due back Monday.

@AFLDreamers - Where will we see Lids spend most of his time this year - across half back, in the middle or maybe forward?

He's training as a mid/forward, but there's always a strong possibility that he'll play back. Is that you Lids?!

@Lnjmatthews - What's the fitness test you use to assess your players for the season ahead? Is there one in particular or combo?

The 2km time trial is probably our big one, as it replicates a rotation during the game.

@mtorney78 - Dusty looks super fit and primed. Is he in better nic than he has been in the past? My early smoky for brownlow.

Like the majority of our list and every other club's, he's training well at this stage!

@palkal03 - who are the main Young/rookie players that you think can make an impact this year?

We've been really impressed with all the guys we've taken in last year's draft, and all look capable of having an impact.

@joel6937 - will we see Steve Morris in the midfield at all this year?

It's a possibility, we have spoken about it at match committee.

@tfeldgen - how is mature aged recruit Sammy Lloyd coming along?

Yep he's settled in really well, looking fit and just a really smart player

@Tigers_of_Old - What have we done during the off season to stop some teams (namely the Blues) getting a run on against us? #bogeyside

Surprisingly we were one of the best teams for disallowing opposition run of goals. We'll continue to work on it.

@Lucrious - Which player do you think will make the biggest strides in their game this season?

Probably Reece Conca.

@lukeemartin11 - Dimma, what area do you think we have improved in most since you have arrived and what area still needs improvement?

Probably a number of areas, but kicking efficiency has been good. Good recruiting by Francis Jackson and his team

I'm sure the Dyson Short-steppall fans on this forum would be pricking their ears at Dimmas comments on Conca.
A fairly big call given he has had another limited pre season.
Hope he gets it right cause its going to be interesting to read the revisionist posts on this forum in 6 months
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
