Yep the Eagles did it in the lead up to their premiership year (2006). I think it was a blindfolded Chad Fletcher who ended up going over the boundary fence  :lol.

I'm not convinced this would help anything other than listening out for the sound of teams mates voices. If they were setting up drills where you had to rapid fire handball blinfolded or line up for goal I could understand but the footage of players slowly walking about and feeling around their toes for balls doesn't really inspire me to believe this assists during game day at all.

Training report on bf says that only the rehab group did the blind folded stuff, and it was for only a short time.
