This is freakishly awesome.
If you look carefully nobody knew it was even comin in their direction.
Everybody must have lost sight of the ball, waiting for it to come through on the other side of the goal posts.
This just goes to show how absolutely shockin the kick was.

Really reminds, of some of steve kernahans kicks for goal many years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I want him to play next week and for the rest of the year.
He is awesome to watch and one of my fav players.
Maybe, as you say, if it's just because of lack match fitness, he may just play next week. Let's hope he does.

Nah man, trollings for wimps and pussies.
I grew up watching footy in the 70's, back when there was a bit biffo at least 20 times a quarter, back in the time when, "when it was on, everybody was in on havin a blue".
These days it's all about talent blah blah blah.

Mark my words, Kingy is goin to kill someone before his career is over, so the more he plays, the greater the chance we're goin to see a ripper of a brawl. I also reckon he'll even do something on a dare from his bikie buddies.

Bring it on Kingy, ya little madman  :thumbsup

Take the 4 points run and don't look back.
Thankfully we don't play them again. :-\

Until the finals maybe....

They won't be making the finals.

Just reading about Lewis and his staging, what about Waite faking a kick in the face.

Plus the dirty tossbag got away with holding onto Dusty for a minute without the ball

Petterd 6?  That would have been a 4 from Dimma and a 2 from Mic.  Why?  The break down….

                 Dimma        Mick

Ellis              5                5
Yarran          3                4
Petterd         4                2
Everitt          0                3
Thomas         2               0
Cotchin         1                0
Murphy         0                1

I think that is the most likely scenario….
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

It is not surprising that Everitt got votes. Lids in the fourth quarter was dropping marks he would normally take and had no impact at all in the second half.

In all fairness to Lids he copped a kick to his achilles early in the 2nd quarter and played mainly forward after that, essentially to provide a contest (keep a defender busy) in the forwardline.  Hardwick admitted that by the last quarter he was pretty sore and had to be anchored down there as he couldn't run.  I'm willing to bet that's the real reason he went quiet after quarter time, much more so than anything Everitt did.  And explains why Everitt was able to run forward so easily to kick 2 goals.

Yep, he was struggling big time when coming onto the ground from the bench in the last half. Brave effort to play the game out when he was clearly hampered by the lower leg.
