Browny on the Footy Show
« on: June 30, 2005, 11:29:42 PM »
Great to see the champ in good spirits, having a laugh and no longer in alot of pain. Browny said it's still a bit sore around the join but otherwise he's fine. He's lost 5kg (80kg -> 75kg) and a fit bit of fitness but he's back in training in terms of doing heaps of swimming (no kicking though) and moving around upright in the pool.

He's determined to comeback as good as he was. He doesn't want people saying he's hasn't been the player he was since he broke his leg as has happened to other players in the past who have returned from serious injury.

The only thing is he's moved back home where he has stairs and one slip could stuff things up  :help.

On Richo's knee, Browny says Richo's ok now and hopefully will have a big one against the Swans.

Anyway Browny's heading off to Paris soon to meet up with his girlfriend and to clear his head. The Club have given him the ok.

Browny looked in great spirits hopping on crutches through the AFL members. He needed a head start on Terry and co to the coaches' box not because the crutches slowed him down but from all the cheers and wellwishes he was getting.
