Summary

* Astbury held both Cloke and Daniher over the preseason. Full steam ahead for Davey.

* On himself:
I’ll probably be pushed around a little bit again. I do enjoy playing back, but this whole preseason I’ve done a lot of stuff on-ball and on the wing, so I think Dimma is looking to just rotate a lot of players through different positions.  I think that’s going to be a big strength of ours this year. Not just myself, but there are a lot of players who can roll through different positions at the moment. So, if it happens that I have to go inside at some stage, and someone else is on a wing, it’s not a problem. I think that what he’s trying to get – a bit of flexibility amongst us.

* Cotch would be the first to say he needs to kick a few more goals. He's a hard match-up inside forward 50. He, Lids and Dusty will be handy up there.

* Grimes - played 2.5 to 3 qtrs last week in the VFL and played again in the VFL on the weekend.

* Jacko had a tight hammy as well and they are just making sure (due to old age [laughs]) so he gets a full year.

* Dusty - no shock to us as we've seen the work he's done during the preseason. PBs have gone through the roof. Tank is getting bigger and bigger. Can play both ends.

* Cotch & Vickery - just taking no risks that's why they came off. Same with Hampson coming off at half-time. Just want everyone right to go for round 1.

* We're in the heat chamber at Punt Rd for 3-4 days a week. So heat shouldn't be a issue for us. Perhaps the slippery conditions might come into the pla but we'll train friday up there and prepare as normal.

* Obviously they're talking finals and they've got immense talent coming through. Going in to win obviously and know it's a challenge up there. We're looking forward to it. There's a bit of a rivalry going with what has gone before up in Cairns.

Geez Sportsday must have been knocked back by a few others before grabbing our old mate Ricky. Did they give Jack a call?  :shh

I'd consider that a big stuffing problem Rick

I have no issue with him going inside to cut up the oranges.
