I see what Magic is saying but I don't agree on this occasion. There is no Arsene Wenger Jens Lehmann elbow injury about this

Def would play McDonough ahead of Newman. Seems Chris is one of the untouchables after all.

Yes he is, he doesn't stands up and has been very average for a few years now. McDonough, Knights, Gordon, Arnot & Lloyd should be played before him. Do something Newman.......

Agree 2 of them can play for Newman and pettard. Liked what arnott had to offer when he played last season

Wouldn't mind betting a late change and Newman is replaced by either Edwards or Lloyd.

You've only just worked that out  :o

Got to feel for McDonut, granted I am not a fan as such but I thought he was a lot better against GC than a number of others - sends a very poor message indeed (IMHO)

At least they didn't drop Griffiths  :-\

Gee I'm just not sold on this team...really thought Lloyd and Knights could of come in to mix it up a bit and provide some run....Grimes I can understand because he always keeps his fitness and God do we need him down back! Probably on Waite. But hell, I don't think we have the pace... :-\

Seems to have slowed down with a full preseason under his belt.  Maybe we should not train him like last year and he'll speed up! :whistle

Will be interesting to see how this team goes, no real statement here except the wrong one, will be extremely interesting to see what happens if we have another loss

on mcdonough. while a bit harsh dropping him after just one game to me he looked out of his depth.  personally if chasing a better current option i  would have liked to see one of gordon or knights come in for him. id nprefer to see him play in front of some named if for no other reason than the experience.
i see peterd has been named forward again. how a edwards did not get picked in his place is beyond me.

i gotta agree with a lot of posters here. we dont pick players on form  or for position we pick players who we like the most. they are usually spineless or lacking in basic skills or both. rfc the club where glass half fulls get long service leave.
terry hardwick come on down son. enjoy your contract while you can. why because its starting to look like your another another in a long line who dont have the balls to see a rebuild right thru.

Rance's omission is huge. He is our best backman. I'm worried Henderson will towel us up now. I'm pleased to see King back in as he is a huge presence in the forwardline and creates goals through his aggression, pressure and uncompromising attack on the ball. I'm hoping the bigger ground suits our spread and helps players like Vickery and Griffiths.  :pray

Not very confident....God I hate Carlton  :banghead
