We didn't have to promote him outright - could have placed Maric on the LTI until he was ready and then sent Big O back after.  Would have allowed us to promote Miles who has done everything right so far.  A poor list management decision imho.

You can't put a guy on the LTI list if they aren't out for 8 weeks. They have to legitimately have an 8 week injury. AFL have to approve it.

They sent him in for surgery around Feb 24 and he will be out until at least Round 5 - that's more than 8 weeks in my book.  It's why I said we should have been smart and done it as soon as the decision for surgery was made because they knew then it would be at least 8 weeks.
