I've seen the side play live twice this year, both in slippery conditions and nothing is better at sorting the wheat from the chaff.
The problem is players who have been on the list for a number of years like Jackson, Edwards, Newman, Grimes and experienced recruits like Hampson and Grigg (I'm still prepared to give Chaplin a tick overall) are chaff when it comes to executing the big three of football in difficult conditions or under pressure:
Ball handling, Decision making, Skill execution.
You can't have about a quarter of your time suspect under anything less than perfect opportunities and compete at the top end.
It is that simple.
