I consider myself to be a tolerant man. A good man. A kind man.

But eff me we need to permanently pee Newman, King and Pettard right off.

Its prob Newman's last year, he's never been a great player, but he has been a loyal servant to the club, who was Captain during an incredibly painful time for the club.  Lets give him his due and not hoe into him.

the heat has been ratcheted up 10 fold since we lost to Footscray.

Hardwick is falling for the same poo all previous coaches fell for and it cost them their jobs and it will him his and that is he has favorites who play week in week out irrespective of their crap performances. In the end its not my job its his but if Hardwick isnt smart enough to get rid of these blokes then he deserves to lose his job.

Agree 100%

Add Chaplin to the main list. Dud. Can't remember seeing him taking the main forward ever. Paying him 400 to be 2nd or 3rd backman.

Who are Dimmas love children?

Grigg
Vickery
Who else?

Peeves me off that he calls out Ellis and Coca after round 1 yet never calls out Grigg or Vickery.

Overall or just those currently in the side?

Houli
Edwards
Jackson (yeah yeah B& F last year but if he played 10 shockers in a row Hardwick still wouldn't drop him)
Rance (see Jackson)
Newman

He might have called them out but he won't drop any first round picks who need a kick up the arse either, like Ellis & Conca. Loathe to drop any recycled player or free agent like  Thomas, Petterd & Chaplin as that would discredit the precious "moneyball" theory.

A team without dimmas golden children:

Deledio. Grimes. Morris.
McDonuts. Rance. McIntosh
Ellis. Vlastuin. Gordon.
Martin. Griffiths. Cotchin.
McBean. Riewoldt. Lennon
Maric. Conca. Arnot.

Knights. Thomas. Jackson. Hampson.

Miles. Helbig. Lloyd. Helbig. Bannfield

Not the most pretty of teams. But it'd be nice to see a richmond side without:  Grigg. Houli. Pettard. Chaplin. King. Newman...

I just fist pumped the air!!  :thumbsup :cheers

Agree with Morris too but Astbury? Hardly.

Think King may have lost his favoured son status too after all the off-season "drama" and the 12 game clause in his contract. Not upgrading Banfield is keeping him in the side atm IMO.

Included Astbury because of the way Dimma has spoken about him at functions I've been at. Pretty clear listening to it that if Astbury had been fit over he last couple of years he would be played no matter what. Last year although he only played a few games but got selected ahead of others who had better form at VFL level - again just my opinion.

Can I add that over the last couple of years people have heaped praise on Blair Hartley and his list management, targeting certain players. But we need to acknowledge he is the main person behind the targeting of Grigg, Houli and Chaplin.

Perhaps Hartley is another one who's position needs to be seriously looked at? Just putting it out there for discussion.

Finally someone else who reckons that Hartley has got off lightly. Anyone can go and recruit players like Grigg and Houli, Hartley gets praised but for what ... where are the big names or the big stars who can impact matches and win games for us. Nowhere ....

Ditch:
- Grigg
- Petterd
- King
- Newman
- S Edwards

These guys just won't be contributors if we have a tilt at the flag. Suffocating the list. Should be replaced by the likes of Lloyd, Miles, Lennon, Gordon and McDonough - all of whom look like they're shown a bit. Really need Miles especially IMO, bloke has shown some skill and mongrel.

Need O for times like this when we have no Maric or Hampson. Honestly you can't expect Griffiths and Vickery to ruck all night against a dude like Minson. He'll just destroy them.
