But what happens when all the mo's realise that the RFC Head Coach job is the death sentence? I think we can make an exception.

Thank gawd we didn't get Mick!
He's doing a Denis Pagan at Carlton, will they ever learn?
Reckon the Eagles, Port and even the bulldogs have taken the right approach to recruiting a coach.
Which is similar to what we have done with Dimma - get the best candidate, don't worry about the reputation.
I'd personally never give any coach more than 5-6 years unless they have led the coach into multiple finals or top 4
I'd also avoid giving any coach more than a season with the option of an extra season once they have served 3 years unless they have won a flag.
So based on that, Dimma should be signed for 2014 and 2015  but the club has the option of paying Dimma out if they don't want to exercise the option.
If we are happy at the end of 2014, you roll over the contract into 2015 and add the option of 2016. Etc.
This will help to stymy the media talk and protect us from paying out 2 or 3 years in a worst case scenario.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”
