Is it Time for the Tiger Army to Act to Save the Club?

Simple really!

Is it time for us as members to take back our club and make the changes necessary to improve the club and make it a powerhouse once more?

It is time to march onto punt road oval and demand change, port adelaide was near bottom of ladder 30 games back and are now on top, we have been trying since 1980, enough is enough

I think the end of the year is the time to see what needs to be done.

We must give the whole coaching group more than 6 weeks to right the ship again.
If we can't beat Melbourne or GWS, we have a stretch of difficult games after that and we will be 2 and 10.  The club may take its own action by then but I really think they will say the year is shot and anything we do now will further destabilise the club.  No cheap wins at the end of the year please.  We need the best draft choices possible.

We need a guy like claw as head of recruiting.  Hopefully that guy who joined us from Geelong will deliver.  Mind you FJ has not been helped by the selection panel not giving games to guys like Elton, MacKintosh, Helbig, MacDonough and also by not elevating Miles as this would have fast tracked development. We also do not play these guys in the positions that they played in as kids.  That may work for some but clearly not for others.  MacDonough is reportedly a great kick for goal.  Hard to kick one from the backline. One thing for sure is that he is not a backman.  Lennon needs to be fast tracked too.  He is a prodigious talent.  The guy who was selected after him in the draft that went to Carlton was half the junior that Ben was but already has played a few senior games and has improved as result.

We need to recruit speed, speed, speed and more speed in the coming draft.  Imagine if we had two speed demon half forwards that spelt danger every time the ball went into a forward fifty.  It would transform our side overnight.  It would encourage the guys upfield to pump the ball into our forward fifty quickly as these guys would create havoc when the ball hit the ground. There is no encouragement to do so at the moment and that is part of the problem with our slow play.  It is slow because there is no speed so we painfully try to set things up.

I, like most others, am exasperated.........................................

It is time for ALL supporters of this great club of ours to group as one and march onto Punt Rd and demamnd answers and change, I was at the game today and could not stop laughing (over crying) as to what I saw. I could not believe the style of play, dropped balls, no effort. We should set a time and date and march as one. Forget the poo but they deserve it.

stuff them, let them merge with the Roos and move to Tassie, TASSIE TIGERS. It's the only way we will succeed, the best out of two teams, trade the rest and get the concession picks for merging.

A club that has 65000 members should not be in this predicament plain and simple.

Patience amongst the faithful is wearing thin and people working at the club both on and off field have no passion and direction. Just happy to get their pay cheque and that's just about it.

We've done our part by buying memberships, attending functions, contributing to FTF, buying coterie memberships and merchandise from the club and despite on field failures remaining loyal to the club.

We deserve a successful footy club the footy club does not deserve us. Sadly that's an indictment on RFC.

This thread was started as a pee take but I have to say - and I say this in all seriousness - if the supporters and members dont take back their club and force administrative and football change then our club will be a rabble forever. We are going nowhere with these people. The people at the club have no idea how to deliver a premiership, they think that recruiting players like Grigg and Hampson and Chaplin is the way forward. Its a disgrace. Richmond supporters - DO SOMETHING! We must do something to save the club from these people who are running it. Its not good enough.
