One could make a case these are.out two weakest positions in the 22.

How a Lennon or miles has not taken griggs spot is a mystery. Hampson to be undroppable is damaging to the youth.

Chaplin is fortunate to escape the spt light given this year and the latter part of last

In regards to the gold coast game; the looked to have a younger morentalentes side and even the dogs set up with youth and talent and were stronger over two hours

No run and carry highlighting our lack of leg speed.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Agree Angus, it is a much bigger problem than personnel right at the minute

Mental weakness has been endemic at Richmond for three decades. We've also rarely been among the fittest sides since the late 80's.

1. Lack of team pressure and intensity over the whole four quarters. We've played no more than 2.5 qtrs in every game so far this season at the level required. In the other 1.5 qtrs we've been sub-AFL standard and it's cost us big time this year.

2. Lack of game smarts and mental toughness at key points during games on top of unforgivable schoolboy errors gifting the opposition soft goals.

3. Lack of hard running and spread forward of the ball to offer options in space.

4. Lack of speed in decision making to get the ball moving forward quickly. Combined with point 3. has lead to a slow short chip, chip, chip gamestyle.

5. Too many dicky little 1m backward handballs as first option when a kick is the better option. We are a much better side when we are kicking long and direct.

6. Lack of an elitely skilled and lightning fast small especially forward of centre. Not only to crumb goals but to also make opposition defenders hear footsteps, panic and rush disposals coming out of their defence.

Pagan paddock also wouls  not work vs current defensive methods

Actually it would, all the sides are doing a modified version of it now  ;)

Probably easier to type what has instead gone right this year. Very little team-wise :P.

I suppose but I envision Carey vs 3/4 defenders and the opposition kicking forward hawthorn style
