Not being a smart arse, but what is a tackle?

Ben Lennon had MULTIPLE tackles. I was applauding his efforts in laying these "tackles".

Stats show ZERO.

Tackles are awarded when a player either prevents an opposition disposal or forces an ineffective disposal.  This includes winning a free kick or forcing a stoppage.

It does not include tackling a player but still allowing an effective disposal.
