Not necessarily true WP. You do get a different perspective though.

At the game you can see the play unfold and see what players are doing off the ball. You get a better perspective of players work rates and why things may be working or falling down

On the TV you get a much better idea of what is happening around the ball. You get a much clearer picture of who does what in tight. A lot of the hard/quick/smart work in congestion,  you simply cant see at the ground unless you are watching the game through binoculars

Yep fair points al, but I am big watcher of what's happening off the ball and work rates.

Weekend was a great example, certain players on the TV looked OK (some really good) but their work off the ball, their 2nd efforts were still not up to where they need to be
