Simple question really! Should the club close its doors? We never gonna be any good anyway so whats the point. Yes or No?

No, I think that's too extreme. However, what I reckon we should all do next year is collectively downgrade our membership to a 3-gamer, and that would send a loud message to the club to stop taking us for granted. Too many blokes down there for too long happy to go through the motions on match day and pick up their fat pay cheque.

A few teams are ahead of us on the list of those that should be closing down

Our last flag was in 1980.

Footscray was 1954, St Kilda was 1966 and Melbourne's was in 1964.

 :cheers

Your boys North should be the first to go. No money, no fans - most of them jumped ship to bigger clubs in the 60's, like you.
Norfies had more fans at Subi than they do at Etihad.

They were mainly Fremantle fans having their fortnightly fancy dress. They support two teams - Fremantle and whoever's playing West Coast.

:lol ain't that the truth. Would have been a good feeling for Norf having so many people cheering.

Good idea Ramps  :thumbsup

The good thing is that a lot of posters on this site support multiple clubs.

Also Claw seems to watch the WAFL more than the AFL

Now Ramps this is one of the dumbest things you ever come up with. Are you off your meds today. Doc help him  :lol  ;D

Its gonna be a long season Monky you better get used to it  ;D   As for Doc, we should all rock up and be his patients, we can all go in talk about the footy and get depressed together, he still gets paid by Medicare and we get to discuss our emotional problems. Everyone wins  :lol

why yes that's a great idea. l think every Tiger supporter is maniac depressed & we all need some meds to mix with our beer. perfect  :lol  ;D

Not counting Gold Coast & GWS, every current club except Richmond & Footscray has made at least one Grand Final in the blast 30 years - in fact if you take out the two next newest clubs  - Port & Fremantle - every club except Richmond & Footscray has played in at least two Grand Finals.

Good stuff.

No, but we should relegate ourselves to the vfl. Delist the spuds and squibs and be the strongest standalone team in the comp.
Or yes we just close it down and become a superannuation fund group...
