Arnott is not playing because he is not good enough. He is just bash and crash. Thats it. Doesn't offer anything else. He needs to become good at something else to become an AFL standard player. so we have 4 injuries and it saves the axe at least its 4 changes. would have liked to see houli go as well.

darrou for grimes, replace a third tall with a third tall. give the kid a game.
a edwards for jackson. not a like for like but rewards good from. means north will have to play a tall on edwards.

only way to replace hampson is play vickery and i cant bring myself to do it. vickery is one who has been so poor for so long he should be made to string 4 or 5 very good games together  in the twos.  its plain to see maric is well underdone  and shouldnt be expected to ruck a full game. besides  hampson is the only one who can give a contest against goldstein.

You might be right but why don't we give him a guaranteed block of 6-7 games and tell him to show us what he's got. Why not.
Morris is crash and bash and not much else but gets a game. Maybe there's only room for one of these types. 

This side is shocking. Jackson and Conca are in our top tacklers, the last thing we need is both of them out against a quick side.
Hampson is a Carlton reserves reject playing first ruck for Richmond. Maric who has not offered anything since 2012 and looks miles away is 2nd ruck. What a disaster, neither of them should be playing, go in with Griffiths and Vickery, less tapouts but a much more mobile ruck combo, rather than carry all of these dinosaurs and get nothing around the ground from them.

Really liked Arnot in that ABC VFL game. Does need to find more football but by god does he have a crack! Looks to have a decent leg, moves well enough and wins the hardball. I'd play him. What do we have to lose?

Yes, I agree we have been playing soft football. But in my opinion, Arnott is a tough player but he lacks the talent to make it in the AFL. When I look at our list, I think the biggest issue at Richmond is a lack of class and raw talent. We have too many average players with average skills who are not mentally tough enough. A lot things went right last year and we over achieved.
