Same Old Stuff, lets be slightly positive
« on: June 09, 2014, 08:08:45 AM »
Yes this year has been an absolute failure. We know we are currently one of the worst teams in the competition.
So why is everyone still shocked and extremely upset when we lose a game ? Did you guys seriously think we could hold them off in the 2nd half?
Lets atleast look at the positives for the rest of this year and then next year.

Dea, looks like he is growing in confidence. Could be a permanent spot in the side.
Definitely have a player in Miles. as everyone is saying, should have played since round 1.
For a half of footy we showed determination, anger, emotion, the drive to win. Havent seen that all year really.
And lets not forget that Dimma thinks he has found the problem  :lol

I'm no good at structures and picking up on things that well whilst watching a game live, but does anyone know if dimma experimented with something in the 2nd half to see if we started to get smashed ( which we did ). Because he didnt seem all that upset at the press conference.. seemed quite happy actually.

Dimmas problem is this
After North kicked 2 quick goals he should of tried to shut game down
Numbers behind the ball and slowed the game down
Nah .not dim wit

Agree, year has long gone......

Let's work on some players, recruit some young guys, new coaches, play the kids for the rest of the year.

Just do it RFC......

And forget about Vickery and Griffiths
Play McBean and Elton for the remainder of year

What can Mcbean do besides crumb a goal? When he puts on weight he won't even be able to do that. One trick pony who won't make it imo

Nothing positive for me last night...in fact it further highlights to me what a spineless, gutless, souless football club we have become

I thought the first half was sensational...clearly our best footy for the year.

However the ease in which North wiped out a six goal deficit has left me feeling hollow inside.

I can see no way out other than to " retire" the coach.

Disagree to a point Jack problem was to start the 3rd he went defensive rather than attacking

Why did they change the centre square set-up? First half having Miles and Vlastuin in there worked, start of the 3rd he went different

Have a look at the first 3 mins of the 3rd, stoppages in our F50, we ent defensive at those when in the first half we attacked them.

Beginning of the 2nd half you play the way that got you the 6goal lead, you don't defend a lead at the start of the 3rd qtr.

Agree that once the tsunami hit he should have put numbers back but also throw some blame the leaders way, they did nothing either

No one in a senior position gets blamed at RFC.
Whether its players, admin or whatever no one takes responsibility and when change is initiated there is no acknowledgement of failure just token words of positivity to sweep the masses up into the so called whirpool of happiness that the RFC have spun so successfully for 32 years.

I and many other supporters like you have blamed the administration for their mistakes but unfortunately Richmond FC is a mates club or jobs for the boys club and everyone protects everyone in their.
