Team Losses
« on: June 14, 2014, 04:20:06 PM »
I really think we need to move on from blaming individuals for these losses, this is becoming a team loss every week, we are just crap.

9% by foot and 10% possessions in the second quarter...??? REALLY????

Keep setting that bar high Richmond. Standards.

Freo were there to be beaten but as normal we gave them the goals to win. Not acceptable at any standard

move on from blaming individuals for these losses

The reality is not all players on our list are of equal ability and loses are due to individual performances.

Freo took the foot off the accelerator in the fourth and  we managed to kick some goals but when needed freo stepped up. Nothing Honourable in this loss.

how many goals did we gift them with turnovers under little or no pressure. would be at least 5 or 6. what irks most is not the fact players make mistakes, no its the fact the same players make the same mistakes over and over and over. how the hell can you improve with these players they can only take you so far.  they wont change in fact its been shown over the yrs that they cant improve or change. they to a man may have a good period where they play at their ceiling but to a man they invariably revert back to mediocrity because that is whats sustainable.

Was cat & mouse like the Geelong match - we were never a chance.

When was the last time we've been behind in the last quarter and got up and won under Softwick?

St Kilda that game at the dome 2 years ago when we squandered a 4 goal lead only to get up by 8 points.

That was Dumma's high point at the club after we beat Hawthorn by 10 goals plus the week before. :help
