Can someone explain to me the point of our stand alone VFL team if we aren't playing players in the correct positions?

I thought the biggest positive was having control of our 2nds team and be able to control where our young players are played and the game plan.

If someone can explain why Lennon who has played all his senior games up forward has been put in the backline at VFL level that would be wonderful.

I'd reckon we'd be fairly happy with that given the Roosters had the breeze. Defended well.

First 3 goals of the quarter to us     

Arnot slotted through his second.
Arnot and McBean combine again and Stephenson runs into an open goal and grab the lead.
Then a coast-to-coast goal - Darrou to McCartney's who kicks into space and Lennon's pace sees him finish off comfortably.

The Roosters then got one back.
