this is an unknown.

Keep it real.

No experience in the job whatsoever.

Just a name.

Absurd he is well known
Get real.
No idea what he brings whatsoever.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

As a coach Theo X is spot on, unknown quantity.

Tim Watson anyone?
Who isn't a fan of the thinking man's orange Tim Fleming?

But you see, it's not me, it's not my family.
In your head, in your head they are fighting,
With their tanks and their bombs,
And their bombs and their guns.
In your head, in your head, they are crying...

Danny Daly is off to Brisbane
Good.
We need some fresh faces and new ideas and better still someone with a backbone that doesn't just nod his head in agreence.
Hopefully Dimma realise it's a team effort in the coaches box and someone else might be able to contribute something.
We need someone senior as an assistant. IMO of course.
It's unusual for clubs to have two senior assistants. Choco is ours.
He isn't an assistant coach. Isn't he head of development
He is but he is obviously an assistant too as he sits on the bench on match days and barks out orders. I doubt a development coach is employed to do that!
Still not a senior assistant coach now is he. So Choco isn't ours!
We could do with one to help Dimma is what I originally said. Do you think Dimma could do with a bit more help?
Of course I agree that Dimma could do with more help. I know what Choco's official title is.
What your title is and what you do can be two different things though.
How many development coaches in the AFL sit on the bench and help with coaching on game day?
How many are senior coaches that won a premiership?
I guess what I am trying to say is that if we get another senior coach, Choco may walk as he may feel that some of what he enjoys doing is then taken away from him. Just MHO.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Quite a few actually

Isolating the RFC Max Bailey & McQualter are both on the bench game day. If they at VFL games Greg Mellor is on the bench

Think you'll find Max Rooke sits on the bench game day for the Cats

What kind of development are they doing on the bench WP?

They are in charge of bum patting.
They are measured by their BTPH rate (bum taps per hour)
I believe Ricky McQualter has increased his bum taps by 28% in the 2nd half of the season, possibly an unexplained reason behind our 8 game winning streak.

Don't know exactly, have never asked  ;D

But they obviously have a role on match day but they deal with all players

Didn't Choco explain how he goes through tapes with players in front of the inner sanctum or was that only young players?

All players but with a lot of work the last couple of months with the leaders he said.

Hayes unsure about assistant coaching role next year

RETIRING St Kilda veteran Lenny Hayes says he has not made any decision on a potential move into coaching next season and he will weigh up his options after his send-off game against Adelaide on Sunday.

Hayes, who has completed a number of coaching courses, including David Wheadon's elite Next Coach Program, is expected to attract significant interest if he decides to pursue an assistant role in 2015.

The champion midfielder said he had spoken to the Saints about staying at the club in some capacity next season, while North Melbourne and Richmond are also pushing for his services.

"I don't think I've ever said that I wanted to go and coach next year," Hayes told 3AW on Tuesday night.

"But [it's assumed] because I've ticked off a few of those courses and it's been mentioned in a few of those conversations.

"The Saints have said they'd be keen for me to stay on in some capacity, and I think I will stay involved in football.

"I think I just need to get through this week and then sit down over the next two weeks and just have that clear path about where I'm going to be heading."

Thought it was interesting that Clarke was on the bench for the Sydney game.
