Only a straight swap for Knights. Need our list to be balanced and maintain the healthy balance of one injury list bludger

A straight swap for Hamspud or Grigg would pretty much have the same effect.

Grigg at least gets on the park

Which is where the problem starts.

Yes lets replace Knights with Morabito in the knee inj indefinite rehab group.
At 300K plus a season that should be the sugar to sweeten this deal.
You beauty.
He can play 4 games next year.
Maybe half a dozen in 2016.
He can get a farewell game against his old club in the popular 1:10 timeslot at Etihad in front of 50 travelling Freo fans and a couple of security guards. :help

Just for the record he's played every game this year in the WAFL.
He's averaging 21 disposals and can't crack a gig in the senior side.
Not saying I want him but Nick Malceski proves its possible to come back from 3 knee reco's.

this is the bloke who said that he understands that he may have to start his career interstate, before being drafted.

Chances of luring him away from WA are minimal.

Chances of luring him away fro any length of time are even less

to me there was just 4 picks for us in 2009, trengove and scully who were melbourne bound and everyone knew it and martin and morabito.  i would have taken either in front of the melbourne boys.
for me being in wa and seeing moribito a fair bit he was my choice at pick 3.  hes a serious talent who has been totally cruelled by knee injury.
im not sure what affect the knees will have on his ability to reach his potential but if given a good run without injury i reckon he will still become a good player at the very  least.

sheesh if he cements a spot at freo their mids which are big compaered to most will get even bigger. how many 190/98  quick line breaking mids are there about the place.
norabito 190/98
mundy 192/91
fyfe 190/88
barlow 190/90
crowley 188/90

Tough choice. Talented but injury prone.  If he was PSD then sure why not. 1 year contract or multi year with an injury clause.  Too many injuries just makes an uneven team.

grigg backs up under hardwick?

that explains a lot........
