Should drop Vickery before he returns to form.  Give them something else to watch.

if i was at geelong and looking at our kpfs elton would be the one i watch over all of them.i still think he ticks more kpf  boxes than vickery, griffiths, mcbean,
weather that translates to him making it well without playing him we will never know.
how badly do we need some young  tall fwds in our system.

Clearly everyone forgot this was on tonight  :wallywink

Came from 26 pts down in the 2nd qtr to win by 4 pts.

Richmond  1.4  4.6   10.8  13.12-90
Geelong    4.1   8.2   11.6   13.8-86

Goals: McBean 4, A.Edwards 2, Banfield 2, Young, McDonough, Williams, Gordon, Griffiths.

Young 30 disposals, Gordon 27, Edwards 23, McDonough 22.

Knights only played 3 quarters in his return. Had around 20 disposals and 6 clearances.

Nice win down there by the ressies that's two in a row.

Good to see a few kids in McDonough and Gordon among the possies and Knights back on the park competitively. :thumbsup

Any Tiger win at Kardinia Park nowadays is a good one considering they are as rare as hen's teeth and we came from a fair way back albeit in the second half to do so. Well done to the lads. :thumbsup

claw I'd like to know how you can have such definite opinions on these blokes when by your own admission you've barely ever watched our VFL side play and have seen about 9/10ths of stuff all of half of them.  McBean in only his second year is so far ahead of Elton in his third year it's not even funny. He can at least read the game for a start.

Elton was worst on ground followed by Helbig.
Dea, McDonough and Edwards were standouts.
Knight had an impact, needs to rebuild his fitness but is a cut above VFL level.
McBean doesn't seem to do allot but the goals keep coming. He needs a tast of senior football, his skills below his knees are exceptional for a tall guy.
Griff presented well but seems down on confidence again, dropped an easy mark inside 50 and had another shot at goal that went OOTF...

Don't think Gordon at 24 could be classed as a kid

Great result for the boys...well done! Helbig named in the bests again, he must be given a chance to play 4 or 5 games before the year ends. Surly his continued form warrants selection. Gordon and McDonough showing good form also. I must say, I like what I see of young McDonough :clapping

Elton can't kick - almost on par with butcher when it comes to set shots.
