WGAF!!!!

Hopefully next year when we beat Port and he kicks goals he will do cart wheels, fire swallowing, walk a tight rope, swim with whale sharks and tame lions....We should be in the four, what will they whine about then..

FFS, really, move on.

it sounds like Boak has moved on. He might finish top four, at least play finals. Good player too.

Why did we not tag him btw

I liked both Chaplins' behaviour and Boaks.

Chaplin looked like the player he was at Port for a change.  Was a brilliant come back by Boak.

Footy was the winner.

Bit more to it according to media.

It seems Chaplin sent an email to Port after he skipped out for more cash, telling them how they could become a better club.

No wonder Boak hates him.

Doesn't sound like that at all. If he really didn't care because he is going going to play finals and we aren't  :blah :blah then he wouldn't have cared about Chaplins reaction or the loss....but he obviously did enough to speak not only to his team mates but the media.

I'd say it cut him up big time regardless of ladder position etc. Just a sook  :nopity  :wallywink

Because he was largely ineffective.

Yes - only BOG by a country mile and the main reason Port were able to stay in it for so long. But apart from that - largely ineffective.

I don't care if he is the best player in the league and they haven't lost a game in 5 years - it's still sour grapes. If he didn't care and had moved on he won't have brought it up to the media in the first place. We're not comparing player or team ability here. We are simple stating the obvious - he lost and an old team mate celebrated beating him and it stung. I say he should have moved on and been a bigger person before he decided to have a go at Chaplin publicly.

Just make him look like a sook. :'( By the way since when is it better to put one of your own teams player down and take sides with an opposition player. Which side are you guys on  :shh  :P

Sour grapes doesn't worry me greatly. At least he cares.

Chaplin seems to play in a disinterested  fashion imo at times. Seemingly not trying enough to get to a contest or assist his team mates when required.
Which I find infuriating when blokes like boak Morris rance go at 110%

See I don't think Chaplin is disinterested. I think he is fairly poised and measured with his play. He's one of those guys who seems to be never pressured and have more time than he should. I think its more his temperament rather than his attitude. As a defender I don't think you get the opportunities to have 'wins' like a forward whose kicked a goal. You don't see many full backs doing the aeroplane after they have fisted the ball away from their opponent so last game was probably his first opportunity to show his passion for the side.  :-\

Bit more to it according to media.

It seems Chaplin sent an email to Port after he skipped out for more cash, telling them how they could become a better club.

No wonder Boak hates him.

That's terrible
