It was always the square-shouldered No 4 for the mercurial Royce Hart for me. The number has suffered a little since Royce, but Dusty is currently doing a good job of restoring the No 4 to its rightful place.
No 8 would be a close second with memories of Dick Clay, with special thanks to Michael Roach & now Jack.
No 3 is right up there too- Roger Dean, the Flea & now Lids give the No 3 some special class. A real classy midfielders number (no thanks to John Pitura).
Richo owns the No 12, simple as that!
Then comes the No 17 for the sheer magic of Maurice Rioli, many thanks to Barry Richardson too. The No 17 has always been the 'off the scale freakishly talented' number for me.
