It is correct that rolling payments started this week?

Well if they have Im about to tell the RFC to stick it, how effing dare they debit my card without my authorisation
I've never renewd my membership this way..
I've never given them authority to do this.
As for my contribution to the FTF, they can stick it, in actual fact I'm thinking of never renewing our memberships ever again...
I'm done with this football club..

Roger, if you renewed online last year you would have had to choose the automatic rollover as noted in replies 51 and 54 of this thread.
I was only asked pestered this year because my credit card had expired and they did not have the new details.

Committed Tiger member information
richmondfc.com.au
November 4, 2014

The Richmond Football Club wishes to advise members on the Committed Tiger payment plan that debits for 2015 memberships will commence on November 17 (normally the 15th of each month, however the 15th is a Saturday in November).

Those members who have chosen the annual rollover will have the entire amount of their membership debited, while those who have selected the 11-month payment plan will have the first month debited.

To make any changes to your membership, please contact the Richmond membership team on 1300 RICHMOND.

http://www.richmondfc.com.au/news/2014-11-04/committed-tiger-member-information

And those are the only two options again for renewal online?
If you want to have a choice about renewing each year you must renew by phone.
The Richmond board and admin really care about members input. The money input, nothing else.
Lock 'em in then you don't have to even contact them each year. Great idea - cuts wasted time spent talking to members.
:bow

Didn't know it was coming out. Wanted to look into changing my membership as a povo uni student who never even uses it. (Have an AFL membership) but lol at them just taking it out without asking. If I wanted to renew I'd go to the web page and stuffing renew it you gimps

Roger are you saying your card has been debited or you are concerned they might have debited?

Yes but you would have been asked when you rang to renew, if you weren't then they have stuffed up

I know when I renewed the "Peanuts" memberships over the phone this year I was asked if I wanted to change theirs to "Committed Tigers" so I didn't need to worry about it anymore.

Told them emphatically NO, and I can confirm they haven't taken the money for those

I haven't rang  this year to renew at all, previous conversation with the club was this time last year to renew our memberships, I was never asked this question, if so I would have said NO.

My card was debited on Monday, I've never renewed online, they've never asked me whether I wanted to renew this way, I don't want to pay in rolling payments.

Sorry just to clarify when I said I rang this year for the "Peanuts" I meant rang around Feb this year to renew them for season 2014. That's when I was asked about changing them over
