Yeah, and almost won with a crap side in missing all their stars. Oh what a fail it would've been if we actually lost

Disagree. Yes they had stars missing but their replacements played their guts out in an effort to get a place in the team playing finals.

and we barely won. We had our best side in and they had several stars out, just shows how big the difference in list quality between us and the Swans is.

Yeah that's why they didn't go in hard until the last quarter. They were clearly trying to not get injured in the first half and a bit. Richmond was crashing in hard

I think it's fair to say, it was an enjoyable win but hardly emphatic.

Even without a handful of choice players they're a tough unit at home. They have a lot more depth than us. Blokes at their club would walk into our 22 even if they can't get a game in the H&A season for the Swans.

Yep look at Gordon. Not good enough for them and gets cut but for us he's our best permanent medium forward option.

IMO it was an awesome win.
We had the most to loose so the game had a massive baring which as someone else said in the past we would have blown it.
The game was played on the road which makes it an even better win.
Sure they had some players out but I don't think anyone thinks we are as good as them with both teams at full strength but with them having a few out it made the two teams very even and as I said, we had much more to loose from a lose.
IMO they had a real go at winning the game, we took the early lead, they fought back and then we fought again. I was so proud of the effort we showed that night, not only because it was a must win but because of the type of footy played and the way we found a way to win.
