Is this a better team than the team that only just lost in round 14 to the Swans?

Out  Thomas, Hampson, Dea, A.Edwards

In  Griffiths, Grigg, Newman, Gordon.

I think it is slightly.

Is this a better Sydney team that R14

Out  Laidler, Kennedy, Pyke, Derickx, B.Jack, Z.Jones, Bird

In  Tippet, Towers, Naismith, Rohan, Hannebery, T.Mitchell, Biggs

Its close, just not sure of some of the more unknown players for Syd.

For me it says it should be a close game as we should of won that last time if we took our chances.

:gotigers  and yes I have tipped them

Just having Hampson out is an exponential improvement

Fine and sunny in Sydney. Currently 20C.
Maybe Vickery will be added and Gordon withdrawn.

Thoughts?

I hope Big Tyrone gets a late call up.

So you are now advocating Dimma's mantra of playing favourites?

Nar, just think we need to score more. Think what you like about Vickory, he hits the scoreboard.
He may go missing for big portions of the game but can also kick mulitable goals quickly. He is more important to our side than a few give him credit for, IMO of course.

We can't afford Vickery to go missing for chunks of the game, pure and simple.  He needs to be switched on all the time or we will pay for any muff ups against this lot.

Then we are in trouble potentially having Vickery and Griffiths in the same side.
Griffith averages 7 touches a game over his wonderful career.  :shh

It's been such a long career too. In all those 33 games he has been played forward, then back in 2012, then ruck and forward.  That would allow him to develop quickly.....

If you watch his last few games, you'd be blind if you could not see the improvement in him.  Confidence is growing. Is quickly catching Vickery who is a year older without the injury problems Griff had when he first came over.

I actually think to beat Sydney we need both to play and for both to play well

Griff is playing good footy right now, so taking pot shots at him is just plain bullsh!t.  He is mobile, he takes marks and kicks accurately and can send the ball in like a cruise missile.  Ill have more of that np.
