The Tigers will hit the NAB Challenge with an inexperienced side against the Western Bulldogs on Saturday February 28 before building the pace before they open the season against Carlton.

Hardwick’s Tigers have almost a full list to pick from yet will ensure many of their young kids get NAB Challenge game time.

“We will take in a younger side at Whitten Oval to make sure we get the right preparation into NAB (Round) 2 and NAB 3 and in saying that we will have some good players in NAB 1.

“But it’s an opportunity for ut to see these young players we have been stockpiling like (Ben) Lennon, (Matt) McDonough, (Liam) McBean so it’s a great opportunity for our fans to see what they have got.”

Looks like Whitten Oval is going to be packed out for our first preseason match against the Doggies.

NAB Challenge Ticketing Update
westernbulldogs.com.au
February 10, 2015

Less than 150 grandstand tickets remain for the Bulldogs' NAB Challenge match against Richmond at Victoria University Whitten Oval on February 28.

Inside three weeks until the Club’s first preseason hit out, general admission ticket sales are also strong as they head towards capacity at the inner-suburban venue.

With capacity strictly limited at the West Footscray venue, members and fans are being urged to reserve tickets in advance for the match at the Kennel.

While members can scan in with their barcode for free on match day, this is subject to capacity.

If the capacity is reached through ticket sales leading into match day, members will be not be able to scan in to a sold out venue.

Trent Cotchin, Dustin Martin and Brett Deledio are among a small contingent of Richmond players managing soreness as they work through the pre-season.

Cotchin and Martin are managing hamstring soreness, requiring focused strength work to ensure they are back in full training as soon as possible.

Deledio is experiencing some Achilles tightness and, given the same injury restricted him in the early part of 2014, the Club isn’t taking any risks.

The trio is not expected to be hindered in preparation for the 2015 pre-season competition, or the home-and-away season.

The Saints want a backup match for the Essendon game, we're one of the sides that has that week off.
And you may not think I care for you
