PARIS AND STAFFORD

even though they list stafford with a calf injury, i feel this week shows that this is the end for him and hilton. with 4 games to go and terry saying patto will be given the chf posi 4 the rest of the yr i really cant see these giys on our list next yr.

No worries X. With Terry saying he'll be giving Patto a go in the last 4 games no matter what, I agree it's the last time we'll see Staff. Only being able to play half a season per year as he has the last two years at age 30 pretty much signals the end.

I get the feeling Terry realistically knows the finals are gone given injuries and weariness in our mostly young and inexperienced side and has decided to get games into the young guys in readiness for next year and beyond. If  they pull something out of nowhere in the next 4 weeks and make the finals then great else we drop down the ladder a few spots and end up with better draft picks while guys like Patto get some AFL experience. A win-win situation.
