Dea owned the defence every game he played this year in the 2nds. The player he is now to the player he was when he arrived is a massive difference. Not only was he beating very opponent he played on but his intercept marking was a highlight this year. Deserved another year and should always play before old man Newman. FYI his kicking is solid too...

Totally agree. Has improved in every facet of his game since joining the Tigers and his kicking is probably the stand out. Also a very good mark. Probably taken a year or so more than your normal recruit but he was coming from a long way back.
Really hope he is given every opportunity (not 7games) to show what he can do. Offers so much more than Newman, Batch and Houli as a backmen.

i heard  of the few players who we thought were uncontracted  some were actually resigned before the b&f. i heard dea was one of em. when WP  also mentioned this in a post i thought well theres something to it.  was asking if dea was one of them would be nice to know exactly who was out of contract at the time of the trade period. less than most think i reckon.

I agree, it would be disappointing if true.
Especially seing he was only offered a year.
