Geez what a nite. The fact I am at work now is an acheivement in itself. I haven't done a thing today...my head hurts.

People everywhere....some sensational talent. Many a highlights.....I think a friend asking 3-4 players about Tivendale's hardness made me laugh the most. Poor basturds....they copped hell from us. Some girl told me I look like Tambling which is weird for the obvious reasons.

But the night was all about mingling and catching up with friends. Was great to see some of the Grog Squad boys in a suit...sensational! Campo spoke....Richo spoke...Miller spoke. Nothing you havent heard apart from Richo ripping into Wallace  :P :P

The auctions were funny.....my old man won the framed Campo shirt for $1500, then some dude paid $1800 to sit in on a board meeting...????? I cant work that out....personal choice I guess.

Foley and Gas are just tremendous guys. Kraks was just embarassed and King Richard Tambling is a gun...but hes just a kid. Its scary Im 6 years older than him.

Sensational night and a great initiative by the club..... :bow

Spewin I have missed both now - last year was rostered on and this year had to be at work 7 AM Tuesday - Living out in the sticks means have to be up by 5:00 and if I went I would want to get on the turps and make a night out of it which would mean train etc etc ...

I will have to send the tiges an email and see if I can convince to do on a friday/sat next time. :thumbsup

It wasn't for a board meetng om21, it was for lunch in the boardroom hosted by Terry Wallace and I think Greg Miller for 10 or 20 people (can't remember exactly - I look it up tonight I've got the auction flyer at home somewhere).

Watch the guys train then have sit down lunch and Q&A session with Tezza and Greg Miller.

One of the other items was a table for ten at the Presidents luncheon in round 21 - I think that went for about $1800 as well
