I reckon keep playing him. But I can recall 2 of his kicks dropping short by about 5-10m. One was a sitter for a gws player but he dropped it and I think a similar thing happened with the other one.

To be fair, everybody's disposal went to crap afer the rain came......even GWS' super slick wunderkinds looked like a bunch of bush league hacks more often than not....

OMG a player turning it over or not kicking it 50+ in the wet...not acceptable  :whistle

Yeah, god forbid he chooses the right option once in a while ::) ::)

Unsung heroes - Round 20

Richmond: Corey Ellis

In a game the Tigers never looked like losing, youngster Corey Ellis showed promising signs. When the game was there to be won in the first term, Ellis bobbed up in the forward 50 and kicked two goals as the Tigers secured a 25-point lead at quarter time. Now into his third season, it was encouraging signs from the left-footed half-back.

Still can improve. He didn't look as scared as previous games.

It was said by some on forums etc that the day he was drafted he had gone out to his backyard and cried because he had achieved the dream of being drafted. That was a terrible sign, a sign that he felt he had achieved the goal when in reality he had only started a journey. Its been a poor couple of years for Corey, I wish him well, but I fear he isn't going to do much for us. Don't know what we could get for him now but maybe a new environment will help him in the future and he can find a place at a new club. I just think he is an average run of the mill player.

I have high hopes for Menadue and think he can be a good player, has serious pace which CEllis doesn't have.

I agree but if he's not in the side by the end of the year I suspect he'll either be put up for trade or ask for one....

The pace would've been handy last night
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

At the ground last night - no issue with C. Ellis and how he played.
