I'm sick of seeing players play above VFL standard and then blow up in AFL.
Go Tigers!

How is it, that opposition mids can "rove" to our Ruck's tap outs, yet ours are unable to reciprocate.?

Seeing as we just played em  was a big fan for taking Blakeley looks to be a good pick up.

Would still have gone a tall defender with the Ellis pick and Blakeley with our second.

Not sure what the point of repeating things like this claw. Yeah you were right but where does that get us? Nowhere. We can't change the past so there's no point continuing to raise past mistakes (of which there are too many to list). I wanted Lever with that pick but that doesn't get us anywhere too. I wanted Grundy instead of Flossy too.... :banghead

Play him the guts at VFL level until he grows a pair ffs....

e.f.a

I too am close to jumping off the band wagon. Took a very good mark in the first few moments of the game and I thought here we go. I'm still going to back him until he gets a go in the middle but gee wiz he needs some balls

“I thought he [Corey Ellis] grew into the game, which was great,” Tigers coach Damien Hardwick said.

“He’s just so clean with the ball. Every time he gets it, good things happen.

“I was pleased for him . . .

“He’s been toiling away a little bit at VFL level, and whatever he does looks a class above.

“We’ve just got to continue to get the ball in his hands because every time he gets it, good things happen.

“So I hope he takes enormous confidence out of that.

“I’ve got real strong belief that he could be a player for us, and I think our fans caught a glimpse of that today.”

I'm pretty sure most times he kicked it today he turned it over? Looked to lack the penetration he wanted. Always been a C.Ellis advocate but seems I'm one of few who thought he was essentially useless

I reckon keep playing him. But I can recall 2 of his kicks dropping short by about 5-10m. One was a sitter for a gws player but he dropped it and I think a similar thing happened with the other one.

OMG a player turning it over or not kicking it 50+ in the wet...not acceptable  :whistle watched the game live and again on replay, Ellis was solid, did his job, won some critical 50/50 contests and went when it was his turn. Hope he plays the year out in the seniors :clapping
