This guy really must be the worst set shot for goal in the AFL.

It's an absolute killer.

Very similar stats but Rioli has him covered in effective disposal and goal assists. George has had a great year and works extremely hard but Rioli has pure footy talent...you don't learn that.

There is no comparison between Rioli and Castagna. I have loved George and what he has given the club but he is not in the same universe as Rioli when it comes to football ability and nous.

Do you really think that he is better than Rioli?
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

Bolton could be anything...he can also miss sitters like he did against North .

Might as well keep rolling the dice with George .

I think he has had a better and more consistent year than Rioli.
Rioli had a period there of about 6 or 7 weeks where he was putrid, and I think even you can admit that.
George's last 3 weeks have also been putrid.

But to be honest I'd probably drop George this week because his form has dropped just like we should have done with Rioli during the year.

And I have no problem with George missing out because I'd prefer someone in form going into finals. We need to be ruthless if we want to win finals..

Me too, I'm backing George in, had a quiet couple of weeks but deserves to work his way through it

He can work through it in the reserves.

No one that will replace him can bring what he does

Bolton isn't ft enough
Lloyd too slow
Lennon too slow

We'll lose the balance that got us here if we drop him now.

Exactly how fit does Bolton need to be to get more than 1 kick and lay more than 1 tackle in four quarters?

It's a good situation to be in.

Having players fighting for a place in the team. You either put up or your out and must work your arse off to get back in. Once your in your better keep contributing or there's someone else who will.

Unlike Lennon, I think Lloyd (48 possessions, 10 tackles, 4 goals 5) worked his arse off to get back in.

Now Castagna can do the same.

Let's hope Dumma doesn't bring in Conca and Griffiths because they might contribute.
