I've also given up for now.

Rest time.

If there's a game George needs to return to form in, it's tonight. Aside from the Giants game he's been MIA. After kicking just one goal in his last six games then surely it's his last chance tonight otherwise he gets dropped.

Agreed- need a solid game tonight. Very lucky not to be dropped with recent poor form.

Apparently according to other Richmond forums he is vital and we build our game around him...

To me he loses 5 plus marking contests per game. He wastes goal opportunities through lack of talent. He loses contested possession 70% of the time. His opponents don't respect him so they tripple team Jack, Lynch and Dusty. All these issues result in numerous forward 50 turnovers yet his pressure acts are elite apparently. Surely we don't pick a bloke that just runs around putting pressure on defenders exiting forward 50. That's the logic. I JUST DON'T GET IT...

I don't see his pressure and intensity should keep him in the team has to be other aspects to his game.

Let me just qualify that my opinion  on Jason is form related. He has been a great contributor in the past but he is horribly out of form. Like every other player that has been dropped he should have been sent back to the VFL to gain some form/confidence and earn his spot. But his pressure role gives him some sort of exemption. That is the part that I don't understand or cannot justify in my head. A view on the value of his pressure role.

He's definitely out of form in terms of kicks, marks and goals, but led all comers with 22 pressure acts last week. So at least he's having an impact.

I understand that's what we celebrate him for but I am just not sure it's enough. I honestly hope he has a blinder tonight to stick it up me for being critical. Just want a little more from him. Last week he was a little on the terrible side.

I think we all need to remember, no. 29 rookie draft and three time premiership player. We’ve done ok here. Out of form but it happens to plenty of players taken plenty of positions higher in the draft.

No argument Richo but sometimes players need lessons to improve form.

Castagna and Rioli do my head in. Rioli because he kills momentum by stopping and holding up play for no apparent reason. Castagna because he has no poise or skill and just does things seemingly without thinking at all or maybe his body acts before he thinks I don’t know.

I think it must be the speed that he brings to the team
If we drop too many speedsters we might just be too slow to stop the opposition
The club that keeps giving.

Totally understand Cracker, it’s the hate and the put downs I don’t understand.

Yep has crept into his game the last couple of years and is frustrating as all hell

I'm hoping MRJ and Parker can fix this problem with our small forwards.

Thought this bloke had a ripper game.

Worked up the ground and did a huge amount of work.

12 marks to go with his 3 goals. One of the best on ground for me.
