"Digital leader in the AFL"

"2.8 million unique website browserers"

"23 million page views"

"Over 2.8 million videos consumed"

A shame we don't get an extra cut from the growing internet rights even though we're leading the pack.

The AFL would also be considering IPTV.

Every club gets a bit, it's an $110m deal for 5 years after all.

I still think they could have got more at the time. Will look like a bargain by end of next year.

Very true, RFCO. Hopefully, there's a significant jump in the internet rights money with the new deal next year.

I was more hoping that as the club that generates the most traffic, we'd get a greater slice of what internet rights money is distributed to the clubs. I'd guess the AFL would counter-argue that we should be picking up more internet derived revenue from sponsors having their name & logo on the RFC website.

How many of these Facebook 'friends' are unique rather than multiple aliases and in Hawthorn's case also don't go woof, meow or chirp?! :yep

We don't actually have the most hits. There's about 10-12 different ways we are ranked digitally and while there is no "official" ranking, we are top 2 or 3 in nearly all of them.
In the past 12 months we were voted best digital team by our peers and most innovative.
