So who do all these debutants come in for?

It's unlikely to happen other than the very odd occasion. Hardwick has his favorites and is hell bent on pushing to finish 8th. Why take the risk?

Menadue is the new kid standing out the most in training so far.
Will play in Round 1 vs the scums. What's his kicking in general like ?

He came in as a skillful player by foot. Havent seen too many mistakes yet. Come down to training tomorrow and check him out.

Grigg - weak as pee
Foley - game past him IMO, list clogger
Petterd - not good enough, fringe player always
Gordon - see previous

To name a few.

Not sure who will debut but I'd like to see Menadue and Castagna. (I know he is a rookie but I hope he gets elevated)
Both are excitement machines going off their clips. We desparately need their pace. Menadue off a wing and Castagna off HB.
No reason why we cannot blood a couple while still having winning as our upmost focus.
Really would anyone loose sleep if we didn't see Grigg or Gordon or even Houli for that matter ever again?
IMO the side as it was most of the year in 2014 has hit its ceiling. We need to inject QUALITY kids.

Would also like to see McKenzie have a crack if his VFL form warrents. I would love him to put pressure on Griffiths and even Vickery. Those two need to get to the next level if we are to be a contender and if they cannot than move on over!

i 100% agree. unless the team changes significantly for the better we will firstly stagnate then drop to the bottom of the ladder. to me finals should be the aim but it should not be the be all end all.have to ask though do we actually have QUALITY KIDS  or a host of battlers.
i have to ask can you see the problem with the list here. we are talking about promoting 1st yr players over the many who have been around for 3 4 or 5 yrs. why is that? surely not because those players have not produced. yep it says heaps about many of our juniors and development players. thats not to mention the mature types who need to be moved on.
surely its our deas, batchelors, eltons gordons lloyds arnots, mcintoshs mcbeans  mcdonoughs we talk about claiming a spot but we dont.

people talk as if we have completed a rebuild yet the truth is we have only done half the job the hard part is moving on reasonable players for better.all we have done is turn over the hacks and make it to middling. im sure we all want better than middling.
