Can you name all 9 left footers on our list?

We have 30 right footers by the way.

Is left the right way?

THERE is no rhyme or reason to it, but left footers dominated major individual awards in 2014.

With Champion Data classifying 144 of the 718 senior listed players as left footers in 2015 (20 percent of the competition), the category is defying probability.

LEFT FOOTERS: CLUB BY CLUB

12 -  Hawthorn, Collingwood
10 - Essendon
9 - Richmond, GWS, Sydney, West Coast, Bulldogs
8 - Fremantle, Gold Coast, North Melb.
7 - Adelaide
6 - Melbourne
5 - Carlton, Port Adelaide
4 - Brisbane
2 - Geelong

LEFT FOOTERS WITH BEST KICK RATING (minimum 100 ‘rated’ kicks)

Jack Billings          St Kilda      Gen Fwd    Left    114    +10.7%
Adam Schneider   St Kilda       Mid-Fwd    Left    109      +9.6%
Chris Newman      Richmond    Gen Def    Left    142      +7.6%
Scott Pendlebury  Collingwood    Mid        Left    233      +7.2%
Harry Taylor         Geelong       Key Def    Left    188      +6.2%

I think Peter Ryan has been watching our training videos - especially the ones that feature a full screen close-ups of a players ankles ... or the soft-focus zoom onto a blade of grass, all done in that thought provoking artistic slo-mo ...   :sleep

Sadly I think he will get plenty of games. Coach loves him, will play him even if it undeserved, like what happened in 2014

For us to go forward, prove we have improved Newy should not be in "best 22" by the end of 2015.

I find that very hard to believe. I don't even know what role Newman has these days. :-[

If Hardwick plays Newman for the majority of the year it again draws into question his ability to judge a player.
Used to love Chris as a footballer but although he still does the odd good thing it's too few and far between and he is clearly deep into the twilight.
Younger players must be given the opportunity to improve in Chris's flanker role.
2015.

My worst moment for Hardwick was him putting Newman straight back into the team just for him to injure himself again :banghead
