Peter Burge's injury update:* Foley had a bit of an issue with his plantar fascia and the bottom of his foot so he needed a small release done to help alleviate that. He should only be sidelined reasonably short term. We're thinking somewhere around the six-week mark but we'll see how he goes. He is a super-positive athlete, so I'm sure his recovery will be quicker than most.
* Lids is no issue. There's hasn't been any issue. However, with his achilles history, there's been a change of approach with his training management over the preseason. He can still work at high intensity but we monitor the number of the sessions per week. He's right to play this week.
* Cotch in on a managed program. He's doing a lot of conditioning work but hasn't missed anything. Doing stuff to the side of the main group and with the main group. All about managing him so he's right for round 1 against Carlton. He should play in the NAB Challenge in a couple of weeks [so presumably that will be against North].
