Result doesn't matter, just looking forward to seeing the squad play

It's exactly that kind of attitude that's held us back for the last three decades....

Don't worry, you'll get your chance about 8pm Saturday night
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Damn straight Aitch Artie me old china, anything less than a 10 goal victory and I'll be calling for Hardwick & FJ's immediate resignations and if you really care about the club you will be too....

FJ is the only one that makes sense.

i sort of agree in the following sense.

while its great the kids get to play and lets be real they all would get 1 game at least,  id rather we spread the talent around a bit more. we want the kids to have the best possible chance to shine and gain confidence.  playing basically a reserves side wont allow for that. good structure good game plan actually trying to implement what we want to do and a decent spread of of talent and experience is whats needed.
call me a cynic but i can see it now, this week a hiding  and an excuse why not to play kids, and next week the better players return with most of dimmas favorites  a better result and whammo there you have it our team for the start of the yr.

Would think claw is on the money yet again.

Griggster will produce a scintillating display against williamstown and earn his round 1 selection

Currently a member of the Roupies, and employed by the great man Roup.

The Pies thrashed the Hawks tonight by 8 goals. Yep, preseason results are true indicators of what's going to happen in the real stuff :lol :nope.

HB:  Dea      Elton     Vlastuin
C:  Lennon    Hunt      Lambert
HF: Knights   McBean  Menadue
F:  McDonough Vickery  Gordon
R:  Hampson   Miles     Edwards
Int/subs: Grimes, Grigg, Petterd, Lloyd, Arnot, Butler, Drummond, McKenzie, Short, Castagna

I'm keen to see how Dea performs. I haven't seen anything as yet that has shown that he is worth persisting with but the club seems to love him and gave him the number 7 jumper.  :facepalm
The club that keeps giving.

I was thinking the same thing MT.

The nuffies on here demanding victories for meaningless matches....

The season is a marathon.  There is no use sprinting the first mile of a marathon in under 4 minutes.  It just means you'll limp over the line in last place.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.
