Wanker Goodes does something completely wankerish. Wonders why he gets booed.

Yep -  whole weekend's going to be about just one indigenous player now.

Tool.

I lived with his former next door neighbour when I was at uni. The bloke doesn't know the first thing about community life. Grew up in Horsham surrounded by white Aussies.

It's got out of control

If he doesn't like being booed perhaps he should stop the knee sliding as well as going down like he's been shot in the contest and other free kick staging.

It's that bad it's embarrassing, and almost insulting to the game.

Or does he think he is above criticism for doing these shifty things?

Goodes said to Richo after the game that it was a war-cry dance he got from a U16s indigenous team and he did it for them because it was indigenous round.

Do people think this was positive for Aboriginal relations or divisive?

It was obviously planned.

Seems to be involved in these incidents with imbalance of emotion over logic.

If it was planned as he has stated, why not do a war dance at the start of the game to the opposition instead of to the crowd? Would have been good, made the highlights reel and would have improved (and possibly help repair) his reputation and integrity rather than damaged it.

To me, it seems pretty divisive to charge the crowd throwing a pretend spear at them.

what a dead set wanker.

players have been fined and reprimanded by the AFL for less inflammatory things towards the crowd

...and people start bringing out the race card when he is booed.

has society got to a point where any we cant dislike anyone that is not Anglo Saxon heritage without being accused of being racist?

Goodes is just a poo human being that happens to be black, not because he is black.

Al its no big deal...Let him express his feelings on the football field, after all this round is dedicated to Australias original inhabitants.
If you want to get angry ,get angry about him trying to put one over the umpires all the time that's what gets me going

I'm a huge fan of Adam Goodes but I disagree totally & I have to agree with Al here.

This is completely out of line even if it was directed toward a bunch of Scum wankers.
It's an aboriginal war dance & it's inciting violence.  I was watching it on tv with my son and we both were shocked he did it thought maybe he had an issue with somebody in the crowd but by his own admission he didn't. Lucky for him it was in Sydney if he did that at the "G" against a hostile crowd of feril Collingwood supporters I reckon they would've jumped the fence. It definitely would've been ugly.

And he can't hide behind his heritage here....What if someone in the crowd was pretending to shoot him with an imaginary shotgun? Would that go down well?
He gets booed by the dawks crowd & they are labelled racist but He celebrates a war dance to the carlton supporters and he's celebrated for his heritage. Rubbish!

He should be fined as Richo was for flipping the bird at Collingwood fans some time ago.
I see this as far more severe than that by a long margin as its a warrior war dance that's inciting violence.
Like I said I'm a big fan of his but this act wasn't his greatest moment in footy and if the AFL don't fine him it will be a disgrace.
The club that keeps giving.

I have no issue with it.

I've seen grigg do that dance many times when attempting to chase for the ball
