Arnot was one of our best today IMO. Thomarse is a stuffing all-time hall of fame dud.

Thomas favourite.

Lambert the next Miles?

Arnot is one of those blokes who will probably always dominate the VFL but never be given a proper crack at the big stage. One game here and there, dropped immediately. Needs a solid six weeks playing in the middle where his body belongs. A club like Geelong would do that for a kid and develop them. Hardwick won't unfortunately.

Matt Thomas actually would have been pretty handy in that young side, tbh lambert has a bit to go to eclipse what Thomas has shown. There's plenty of time though

didnt do enough to force any one out of the seniors imo. i dont get the love for arnot he looks just plain old ordinary to me.
in fact i dont think anyone did enough to force a change in the top 22 25 from last yr.
taylor hunt is a butcher of the ball well going by that game he is ,  lambert did okay and knights showed polish but hardly touched the ball.these 4 or so were probably the ones most talked about as forcing their way in.im hoping knights can keep building as we sure could use some polish and smarts.

i think diocletion said it all when he said.  no one made you stop and go wow we have a player here.
some of the newbies showed a glimpse here and a glimpse there but none will play seniors imo. some looked down right ordinary.

looks to me like in the main this yr  we will have to put up with more of the griggs, petterds, houlis, concas, vickerys etc and hope like hell players who have been there for awhile now can significantly improve.

lets hope it gets better as the preseason progresses.it is after all the first hit out of the season.

This year I would rather see the likes of Lambert and Arnot given proper game time over Grigg, Petterd etc.

Elton over Vickery.

Try to grab some GWS talent at the end of the year, and go from there. 2015 won't be a premiership year we all know that. Need to be developing youth instead of persisting with blokes like Grigg and Petterd who have peaked at C-grade...

Still too early to call.
DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...
