Even if Foley and Newman don't play another game, at least we got our list profile right.

It's not a Heart murmur!!!!

He has a supra ventricular tachycardia. He will have a electrophysiological study and ablation of the aberrant pathway. This will be done percutaneously through the groin.
He will be able to play in a few weeks.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

good to hear because he hasn't been able to play for a few years now.

Will it help Foley get back and play?
I hear the two are linked

It's only fair that now we're 18th on the ladder, I show the faith back in the club and do everything I can to put them in front. In the end, I'm stoked I made the decision to stay. I f***ing love this club”

Serious question Doc

Is there a chance the procedure wont be successful, that is it wont correct the irregular heartbeat/rhythm?

My late Mum had a irregular heart beat thingee and the procedure they did, didn't work and because of her age they wouldn't do it again

Nothing really to do with this quote but how good is modern science. My old man had a quadruple bypass in January. He is 60 and is already back working full time (and he's a painter), doing the necessary physiotherapy and reckons he hasn't felt as good for 15 years.

So I have no doubt Chris will be fixed up just fine. I just really hope he misses round 1, maybe 2, and someone puts in a stellar performance  ;D

There is always a chance the procedure won't work.  However, in young people the problem is usually a different one to older people and far more likely to be successful. He has a simple accessory pathway that needs ablating most likely.  Your late mothers irregular heartbeat was different. She almost certainly had atrial fibrillation I would think. That is much harder to fix and fixing is often unsuccessful especially in the elderly, those with dilated atria and those whose irregular heartbeat is almost permanent. Does that help?
