He has a supra ventricular tachycardia. He will have a electrophysiological study and ablation of the aberrant pathway. This will be done percutaneously through the groin.
He will be able to play in a few weeks.
Nothing really to do with this quote but how good is modern science. My old man had a quadruple bypass in January. He is 60 and is already back working full time (and he's a painter), doing the necessary physiotherapy and reckons he hasn't felt as good for 15 years.
So I have no doubt Chris will be fixed up just fine. I just really hope he misses round 1, maybe 2, and someone puts in a stellar performance
