Gasper, the unheralded man!

Destroyed every opponent he was on today, Nixon got one goal on him from a dodgy free kick, besides that NOTHING else was scored on Gasper, great game!

That's true Razor, but how many times did Gaspar push his opponent under the ball, and they ran on to the ball and kicked a goal?

It happened a lot in the Freo game too. I'd like to see Gas getting a fist on it. Other clubs are onto it and it's killing us.

He has had a great season, back to pretty much his best form this year.

I was calling for him to be moved onto Dixon half way through the second.

Just does his job and gets on with it. :thumbsup

I tell you what X

Gas has come out in front more times than not this season.

He would have one of the best records for goals kicked on them for the season out of the full backs.

He has been fantastic this year.

It's not just goals kicked against that measures how well a full back has done.

3 times in the first half on Sunday Gaspar led his opponent under the ball, no one touched it, and it was swooped on by a running forward (miller twice and someone else) all resulting in goals.
It happened 7 times in the Freo game. And sometimes he doesn't run back to the square when maybe he should.

As for people who say that you can't be faithful to Richmond if you bag Gas, Cambo etc; what makes us unable to make critical assessments of our own club?  'outside' people that have come into the club over the years and even today such as Brian Royal are paid to make these type of assessments, so as a long standing member I know I sure as hell can too.

Actually, I was saying how annoying Gaspar is when he doesn't get a fist on it, an essential job of a full back IMO.

Don't you read other people's posts X ?????

take II

spot on dc, gaspar has fooled many this yr but his performances have cost us dearly at times and he personally nearly cost ud the game v the dons, an out of form lloyd nearly got the bummers back on him.
if u review his season honestly, he had 1 gr8 game v the lions and not much more. i look at how he played v the demons for example, he lacks body stregnth and lost his tiiming.  i dont know why many fans think players are fantastic and untouchable, for us to go fwd he must be traded
