Troy Chaplin on SEN - 31/03/2015

Chaplin was on SEN this morning ...

AUDIO: https://audioboom.com/boos/3039227-troy-chaplin-chats-with-morning-glory-ahead-of-thursday-nights-afl-season-opener

Chaplin defended Vickery to a point. He said Ty's still only 24 but even Ty knows he has to perform more consistently. Ty's best is very good but his worst is poor so gap the between the two are still too great.

Chaplin:
“Every team’s going through exactly the same thing in pre-season.  You’re running exactly the same, you’re training exactly the same, everyone’s improving, everyone’s running PBs. It’s the same message that you’re hearing all the time. But the reality is, until the games start, you don’t really get a good gauge of how you’re going. I think for us, we need to make sure we improve on what we served up last year. The start wasn’t that great.  As long as we’re continually improving and that’s what our focus has been on every session. There hasn’t been one thing that we’ve changed that’s going to help us go the next step. It’s more a consistent performance right across the board and making sure that every single player improves.”

Call me old fashioned but I prefer my leaders to posess the ability to articulate
any given instance.

Furthermore, when one is unable to do so, I can't instead, rather help but focus on their traits of stupidity and denial.

Either way, it's a fail.
